I know, exactly! It's just plain crazy!! When hubs and I got MRSA, the darn antibiotic they wanted to put him on (he got it first) was $1000!! And that was the generic! They decided to make do with two different, cheaper ones and that did it for him. He then kindly shared his staph infection with me, and I spent six weeks fighting it! Ugh!

My son just came home from school today complaining that his ears are hurting! Noooo!

Thank you for the visit and the well wishes! Hope you guys are doing well, too!!

Way back when, my now-husband had an issue with a tooth that was ultimately solved by having the tooth pulled and taking a course of antibiotics. He didn't have money to get the scripts filled, and while he was sleeping off the novocaine I took them over to the drugstore. The super-duper painkiller? Seven bucks. The antibiotic (without which the infection would not heal and we'd be in more trouble?) about $123. I swear, I don't know how these things are figured out or how people are expected to afford any of them. Hope you're feeling tons better now.
