Thank God in Heaven above that the boys don’t have access to this monster:
It’s a Mountain Dew Game Fuel soda machine! Oh my gawd!
My husband didn’t get home last night until 12:30 from the band competition he’d taken our other son to, and he said that when he went down to the ‘dungeon’ - those boys were wired FOR SOUND!
They had Halo 3 on the big screen, and DDR on the regular TV - and they were wound tighter than eight-day clocks!
I knew that one of the boys was being picked up early for church, so I went down there this morning as quietly as I could to wake him up, so I wouldn’t wake up all of the boys. When I opened the door, I was shocked to see all of them not only awake, but, already playing video games!
And the funny little monsters - you know what they said to me? With big smiles crossing all their sweet, sleepy faces, they said:
“We went to bed early, so that we could get up early and play video games, because we knew Daniel had to leave early.”
I thought to myself, “Well, that’s odd, I was sure they had stayed up late.”
So I asked them how ‘early’ they went to bed. By this point, they are all giggling:
“3am. It is early, you know!”
Monsters!

1Funny, I am having the same problem with my Firefox too so when I comment I use IE. What a pain and I can’t figure out how to fix it.
We have a lot in common. One of my boys is 13. My 15 year old just got Halo 3 and we have to drag him away from it. I threatened him with a shrink yesterday!
I will bookmark your blog or sub to the feed.

3@ Windyridge - I’m glad to know I’m not the only one, I’d begun to think I was crazy or somethin! LOL! And it just happened all of a sudden one day…I have been searching for the answer - I’ll be sure to tell you if I find it!
Ha! That is so funny about your 15 year old! My husband is tickled pink we have it, because, now we have so much more leverage against the little buggers! He was actually dancing around the house yesterday…”If you don’t play your trombone…NO Halo 3!” “If you don’t clean your room….NO Halo 3!” “If you fight with each other or your sister….NO Halo 3!”
Hahaha! He was enjoying himself FAR too much!
@ Belle - Yes, they are sneaky little buggers, aren’t they? LOL!
