I have told hubby since forever that I just love gold! Diamonds are pretty, but, for me, gold is where it’s at!
I really love it when it has that being-poured liquid-y look to it! Yummy!
And apparently, I am right on the money about preferring gold! As an investment, gold is a great way to go!
Can you imagine having your own gold bar? What is so great about gold bars today is their ability to be a powerful investment and protect your wealth.
And you can also get American eagle gold coins - they are one-ounce coins that are .9167 fine gold, and have a $50 face value.
That sounds really cool!

I found the perfect Happy Birthday smiley for me today! A drunk old Irishman!! hehehe!
I hope his audio works on here - too cute! …nope, it doesn’t work, darn! Well, he says, “It’s your birthday? Well, happy Christmas Easter bunny!” with some burps and hiccups in the voice of maybe a 60 yr old Irishman - very cute!!
I sure wish I felt better today, I have this rotten cold, chest crap - I hope to garsh it’s not gonna morph into (or hasn’t already) bronchitis or walking pneumonia.
Ever since I got that horrible bout of pneumonia about two years ago, I’m always nervous when the coughing and pain goes way down into my chest.
But surely, I’m just making a mountain out a molehill…right?
I sure wish I felt better for my birthday - well, hopefully, Friday evening - I’ll feel better, and I’ll have the car, and I can get to a meeting - with people who really are happy about such things!
My dh forgot - and my 13yr. old was seriously not thrilled!
I’m just rambling, because I’m completely unable to ‘post like I mean it’ today - think I’ll go hang out in my daughter’s room and watch her tv. LOL

I have met some of the coolest people online, and my friend in New Jersey, Deb - is one of them!
She and I are both Gemini’s and we have a lot in common and get along great!
She has several blogs, and today I’d like to tell you about just one of them - Surviving NJ
She writes all about life in New Jersey, and about her growing to love living there!
One of my favorite of her recent posts showcases her beautiful sunroom with a cozy picture of winter snow outside: Sunroom Visions of Snow
Check her out - she’s got lots of cool stuff to share!

My folks just love Boston, and I could easily see them moving there! It is one of their very favorite places to visit.
If they were looking to move there, and since they are empty-nesters, a condo would be the ideal living situation.
And here is a great place to look for Boston Condos. Realtors, developers, and owners can list condos for sale on their site - this way potential buyers can bypass any middlemen, by finding the contact information of the listing agent or owner of each condo right on the site!
They’ve also recently launched a very helpful program called “Building Specialists”, which deals with a real estate agent who specializes in a particular condo building.
So I think if my parents were ever to decide that they did want to move to Boston, I know exactly where I would send them!

The home loan process can indeed be a scary one, but the people at Lenox Financial Mortgage are all too aware of that!
They say right on their home page - “We work with numbers, but our focus is people.” Now if that doesn’t make you feel a little better about things, I don’t know what would!
How about the other great thing they say on their homepage - “Spend nothing. Save a lot. It’s the biggest no brainer in the history of mankind.”
Now that sounds good to me!
Yep - Lenox Home Loans sounds like a company with real people! That is the very best kind of company to deal with - especially when it comes to your money!

All I can say is Whoa! I am surprised I am even alive, to tell you the truth - by all accounts, like many of us, I shouldn’t be!
But to be not only alive, but, living a productive life as a wife and mother…I am in total awe at the Power of God - when I let him work in my life.
God doesn’t drive parked cars, so sure - I’ve had to be helpful to myself and to Him throughout the journey, but, I also know that He full well allows me to turn my back on him, if I so choose.
So with an ounce of cooperation, mustered only out of sheer desperation - I’ve come this far!
It is simply amazing to me that a girl with so many, many problems….*shudder*…..could be living the life I am living today.
Oh sure - I have my problems, everyone does. But that is the stuff of living. …of which I was not doing. I wasn’t living.
It was pure chaos, and it was utter Hell. But - it most assuredly was not living.
And so - in this new existence, having been rocketed to a new dimension, I am allowed to have the everyday problems of people living life. Of a woman married to a man. Of people raising children. *shudder, chills, and tears*
I am raising children. I am raising children.
My lifelong dream.
All I ever dreamed of and all I ever cared about was becoming a mother. I pointed out babies to my mother as a baby myself, and I was begging people to let me babysit long before I was ready or of the proper age.
And as messed up as my world was, I surely thought that dream would never come true.
Although my sobriety is between myself and God, there are two people without whom my sobriety would never have happened - my Momma and my Sammie.
They loved me when noone else would, and they knew I needed TLC when everyone else wanted to yell at me, scream at me, and rightly so, really. But you know when you are at the point where people are just so mad at you and so fed up with you? That point?
That point is just when Momma and Sammie knew I needed love.
Damn, they rock.

So I met this really sweet blogger named Eve and one of her blogs is all about working from home - different ways to do it and make it work. The blog is Home Biz Blogger.
And once a week, she features a new home biz - and it is aptly called The Featured Home Biz of the Week.
Well, I was lucky enough to be chosen with my personalized letters for children biz, My Very Own Mail. Then she follows it up a few days later with an interview. (Normally, that is. Last week she had some internet connection issues, so things got slowed down. No biggie.)
You can see my original featured post here:
Featured Home Biz of the Week - My Very Own Mail
And now you can see the interview that she and I did here:

Thank you so much, Eve - for giving me the chance to share with everyone all about my home business! You rock!

I am always on the lookout for the best place to buy ink cartridges for my printer.
This site, databazaar.com, looks like it could help everybody out! Seriously - you could buy ink cartridges, or even a toner cartridge, from almost every brand and make of printer available. There is so much stuff on this site - it is amazing!
I noticed that they even sell memory sticks, multimedia cards, of course - loads of different printer papers, copy and fax supplies.
I wonder how much it would cost to get one black and one color cartridge each for my printer?
Hang on - I’m gonna go check it out…
Oh wow! That’s awesome - the total for one black, one color for my Lexmark Z52 would be $34.06 - that is a really good deal!
Those are the ‘compatible’ brands, though - not the actual Lexmark brand. But those didn’t look too expensive either.
And! It’s free shipping! Totally awesome - I think I might buy my ink this way next time - I’m getting close to needing a color cartridge.
You can also subscribe to get updates and money-saving coupons, and they will send you a $5 coupon right now! Very cool!

Yep, it’s true! A molecular scientist/family man, not too far from here - in North Carolina, has figured out a way to put the caffeine in your pastry without your having the bitter taste!
That is pretty cool!
He has approached some major chains about going further with his idea, which, by the way - he calls Buzz Donuts! Hahaha! Isn’t that great?
There’s not much on his site yet, but, I am eager to watch for what is to come!
One of the big things that everyone is talking about is that you could - instead of having coffee, just have the donut, or the bagel - to get your morning caffeine.
I imagine, however, there are many people out there like me, thinking…”Oh cool! More caffeine to go with my coffee!”
Hahahaha!!
